Here by the sea, in Greater Wonderland/Paradise it is a Summer Weekend. The bikers have roared their way through the mountain passes, and are congregating on the Prom and the wind has dropped. So I would like to see Froggy posing in his leathers, or in a paddleboarder's wetsuit 😊
A cocktail stick will come ready pointed so probably that if I can find them in the kitchen. Otherwise probably a matchstick (bit chunky though) or some very thin dowels I have in my craft cupboard.
As for growing avocados, hubby tried and tried for years with the cocktail stick thing, they only ever went mouldy. Then ended up forgetting one on a plant pot, so soil, and it grew!
I think I have a few in the bottom of a drawer somewhere. I did like a good strong cheddar with pineapple atop of though, but then I’ve always been the weird one.
PS...I need to do Darning, on my favourite wool jumper, AND one of my TurtleDoves. I bet you'd know which style of darning to attempt, and have some tips? I have bought brightly-coloured darning wool...
Ah, sadly no. Not a darning person, I end up with knots and bumps all over the place. So now I just cobble together and surface embroidery something abstract over the top.
There are good YouTube videos on how to pick up stitches neatly etc. Neatness, in general, is not my usp either. Froggy is full of mistakes I’ve glossed over.
I have a feeling this is gonna really take off and I’ll get to say I was a fan from the get-go!

Yep, I plan to make it 'visible', but was hoping at least to be 'neat' - probably a vain hope, neatness is not my usp 😂
