Oh, wow. The titles and first line pulled me straight in. The images of death (and your refusal) are so rich. I love the last stanza--the cow is a true and unexpectedly lovely surprise.
Somehow I think I actually managed one of Nellys prompts properly
Love the idea of death’s cow. I didn’t see that coming and it’s a lovely, comforting image. Who doesn’t like cows?
Behind a fence I’m fine with them. I do like ‘Hee-land Coos’ the most, ginger and curly hair creates an affinity.
